Confined Spaces: Breathing Apparatus User Training (BAU01)
Self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) is the highest level of respiratory protection against environments that may have for example, low oxygen content, smoke or dangerous gases. Workers who handle materials that may be, Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) or work in contaminated areas may be required to wear positive pressure, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus.
Course Aim
This course is aimed at anyone working in environments where they maybe in the presence of a harmful or oxygen deficient atmosphere that would require you to wear full respiratory protection.
This course is about safe set up and use of self -contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Users will have a full understanding of the equipment, how to check it is fit for use and the correct donning procedures.
