The course is aimed at delegates who use ladders and stepladders as part of their regular work duties. It will give delegates an understanding of the relevant laws and standards relating to ladders and stepladders, how to safely select, inspect and use the equipment correctly.

- Overview of relevant health & safety laws and regulations associated with ladder safety / working at height
- Hierarchy of risk management
- Selecting appropriate equipment for the task required
- Understand how to anticipate risks of fall hazards in your workplace
- The importance of pre-use inspections and record keeping

By the end of the course, delegates will be able to correctly select, inspect and use the correct piece of equipment for their work situations.
